To balance cumin’s main-character energy, I paired it with the gentle warmth of Aleppo pepper and the slightly sweet aroma of fennel. The result is Aleppo Ember — a bright, earthy, and deeply flavorful blend that’s my go-to upgrade for classic seasoned salt.

It’s magic on fried potatoes, scrambled eggs, grilled fish and roast chicken — basically, anything that deserves a savory seasoning with a little heat.
